With every rise of sun

With every crash of waves

With every seed ever sown

With every drop of rain

With every sweat of thy brow

With every strike of hammer

With every line drawn to plan

With every step to find direction

With every word from thy mind

With every will of thy might

With every fibre of thy being

With every act from thy wisdom

With every habit formed

With every choice to neglect

With every consideration

With every conviction

With every sway of wind

With every meander of river

With every solid component of rock

With every dig to unearth

With every bloom of flowers

With every animal that feeds

With every season of harvest

With every season of drought

With every dusk we approach

With every shore that grants rest

With every tree that gives shade

With every shower that renders its subjects clean

We are obligated to do our best, not just for ourselves but for mankind.

This doesn’t make us heroic or special by any measure.

With every waking minute we become more alive when we see our purpose as not just a thought, an act, a kind deed.These are just activities that will be interpreted in many ways.

One must go beyond self, in small ways and then in all ways.

For all that have lived, have equally benefited from undeserving mercies.

So you see … Your purpose being fulfilled, though it may be an attractive ‘dream come true’-It is an obligation!
